In our ambitious goal to conceive dishes that redefine pleasure and give indulgence free reign, we are supported by a quality awareness that stretches from the creative mind of our staff to the consumer.

Our range of exquisite small wonders is the result of three elements, subtly combined to be successful: the use of fresh and mainly natural materials, the application of new techniques, the original recipes and the input of new and creative young ideas.

The specific needs of our customers matter very much to us and therefore full attention is given to a personalized service.

Where we come from

Shape and identity were given to the Beluga in the year 2003, when Dirk Casteleyn wanted to enlarge his passion and experience for the horeca, with something new.
Therefore the experienced decorator, Mr. Danny Van Heste had been a excellent help, and with a great mâitre d’ hotel, and a perfect chef, he could start his business.

Very soon, our works of art, sometimes a bit strange combinations, were completely accepted and appreciated by the costumers of our restaurant.

Today the restaurant Beluga is an open and self assured company, that breads quality and has found its place among the better half of the market.

We are sure that an open-minded approach and a strong willingness to create the uncreated will safeguard our future success

What makes us different?

The Belgian cuisine has the reputation of being amongst the best in de the wordld.
This excellence and passion for food is entirely due to he fact that Belgium has had a long tradition is this particular field.
A trip to the lovely city of Ostend just shows the tradition and we dare believe that restaurants along with the Belgian waffles, the chocolate, the beer and diamantes had made our Belgian country famous.

Next to the moral duty to honour our national products, the Beluga team wants to do more and it’s the aim to surprise the greatest criticasters with something unique: something that exceeds there notion of finesse.
